Kate’s Necklace

Kate approached me to create a special necklace to celebrate her new job, a meaningful piece just for herself.

Her brief was simple yet personal : something oval, set in gold and featuring her favourite colour, green.

After exploring my gemstone collection, Kate was drawn to a beautiful oval floral-carved jadeite cabochon. To honour its intricate detailing chose a ( collet bezel setting? im not sure so we can change hahaha ).This not only secures the gemstone but also allows light to pass through the back, showcasing the delicate carving to perfection when worn.

The design naturally evolved and i extended the piece with three brilliant cut round diamonds .a symbolic touch representing Kates past. present and future.
